During the POWs exchange on September 21, it was possible to return, in particular, 9 Ukrainian border guards. Among them is Ihor Kucher, who decided to surprise his son during the festive event.
The son of a border guard decided to follow his father's example and entered the National Academy of Ukraine's State Border Service. Ihor Kucher secretly came to the swearing-in ceremony, which his son had no idea about, and moved the future border guard to tears.
The rector of the academy Oleksandr Lutskyi contributed to the emotional surprise, who called cadet Kucher with the squad to meet the defender of Mariupol, who was released from Russian captivity.
