He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The operation was planned in this way: not to attack Russian enemy's lines head-on, but to use approaches that are characteristic of assault operations. The enemy's forces in the depth of the defense were destroyed, and then assault attacks were carried out at high speed, where the enemy did not expect. It was a lightning Ukrainian blitzkrieg," Zgurets emphasized.
According to the expert, Russian enemy is now trying to withdraw his forces to the Oskil River in order to ensure the creation of a new line of defense.
"But this is in theory. The panic associated with the offensive of the Armed Forces does not allow them to adequately approach the creation of a new line of defense. Any actions of the Russian military are dangerous for them. It is necessary to wedge on the shoulders of the enemy into the territory that he previously occupied", Zgurets emphasized.
