Ukrainian aviation launches over 20 strikes on Russian concentrations per day

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the information in the morning report.

"Over the past day, rocket and artillery units struck 4 control points, 6 concentrations of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 3 ammunition depots and 5 artillery units at firing positions," the statement said.

The Russian army launches 8 missile and 74 air strikes at the positions of Ukrainian troops in a day

Over the past day, Russian troops launched 8 missile strikes, 74 air strikes, and 62 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Russian forces attempt to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions, heavy fighting continues. Over the past day, 34 combat clashes took place in this frontline sector.

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched an air strike on a settlement in the Kharkiv region.

Furthermore, Russian forces launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 36 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops carried out air strikes near 2 settlements across  Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.

Seven settlements across Kharkiv and Luhansk regions came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out air strikes near 5 settlements across  Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Eight settlements across Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched air strikes near 3 settlements. They also shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near a settlement.

The Russian army also launched air strikes near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region and shelled 6 settlements with artillery. 

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks near the town of Marinka. Russian troops shelled 8 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched air strikes on 2 settlements and shelled 5 more settlements. 

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces carried out air strikes on 6 settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

They also shelled over 40 settlements across Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, Russian military allow evacuation only for people with a Russian passport

In the settlements of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, Russian occupying forces exploit the consequences of their crime.

"In particular, only people with Russian passports are allowed to evacuate from flooded settlements. The occupiers are also forcibly expelling civilians from surviving private homes to settle Russian occupation troops there," the statement reads. 

• Late in the evening of June 9, Russian troops attacked Odesa with Shahed drones. The air defense systems were activated, but debris from the attack hit a high-rise building, resulting in the deaths of 3 people and more than 10 people getting injured.
