Ukrainian aviation launches 2 strikes on Russian manpower concentrations - Ukraine’s General Staff

In the course of the day, Ukrainian aviation has launched 2 strikes on Russian manpower concentrations, and missile forces and artillery units have struck 5 Russian control points and a manpower grouping.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The General Staff confirmed the destruction of Russian manpower and equipment in the previous days.

"Thus, 4 self-propelled 2S7 Pion artillery systems were destroyed in the Donetsk region. And near Zabaryne , Kherson region, Russian headquarters, where a meeting of officers with the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces was held, suffered a strike. As a result, up to 70 Russian servicemen were injured. The number of dead is being clarified," the report reads.

Russian troops shelled Kharkiv region with more than 10 MLRS attacks

"During the day, Russian forces launched a missile attack and 10 MLRS attacks on Kupiansk, Kharkiv region," the report says.

In the northern/northeastern Ukrainian border (with Russia) in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, Russian troops fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near the settlements of Vintorivka, Manukhivka, Ryzhivka and Vorozhba of the Sumy region, and launched mortar and artillery shelling of 5 settlements of the Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, over 25 settlements were hit by tanks and artillery.

In Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions of the Donetsk region, Russian troops shelled more than 20 settlements. In particular, Spirne, Berestove, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Opytne, Ozaryanivka and New York.

In the Vuhledar direction of the Donetsk region, Russian troops fired at Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops shelled more than 20 settlements. 

Russian troops repeatedly chaotically shell civilians of the recaptured towns and villages along the right bank of the Dnipro river in order to intimidate them.

"The town of Beryslav, Kherson region, is subjected to systematic mortar attacks. Also, in the Kherson direction, civilian infrastructure of Kherson, Respublikanets, Tiahynka, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Sadove and Veletenske settlements suffered from shelling. There are casualties among civilians," the report informs.
