Ukrainian assault brigade tells about hottest spots in Kupyansk sector

"The Steel Frontier units continue to perform combat missions in eastern Ukraine, namely in the Lyman-Kupyansk sector. The enemy is trying to carry out assault operations. Over the past day, Russia made 15 attacks. All the attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders, and the enemy retreated. Synkivka, Ivanivka and Stelmakhivka remain the hottest spots in the Kupyansk sector. 15 combat engagements took place there. Russia is sending assault groups of 20-30 soldiers with the support of equipment," emphasized Shevtsov. 

He also added that the Ukrainian Defence Forces have prepared well-fortified fortifications in the Kupyansk sector and are ready to meet the enemy.

• The Russian forces are actively attacking and stepping up their efforts in the area of Kupyansk forest, but have stopped their offensive in the Yahidne-Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi area as they suffered significant losses.
• Over the past day, there were 78 combat engagements on the frontline, and the enemy continues to shell civilian objects and populated areas of Ukraine.
