Ukrainian Army repulses invading Russian forces in Bakhmut, Kharkiv, Avdiivka directions - General Staff

According to operational data, invading Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on establishing full control over the territory of the Donetsk region, maintaining the seized districts of th Kherson, part of Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, and Mykolaiv regions, restoring the combat capability of units that have suffered losses. Instead, the Ukrainian defense forces continue to successfully launch missile and artillery fire missions in the designated directions and inflict losses on the Russian occupiers in close combat.

In the Volyn, Polissya, and Siversk directions, the situation hasn't changed significantly. Invading Russian forces fired barrel artillery at civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Seredyna Buda, Shevchenkove, Katerynivka, and Vilne settlements in the Sumy region. 

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian occupiers fired from tanks, barrel, and rocket artillery near Varvarivka, Uda, Slatyne, Petrivka, Velyki Prokhody, Pischane, Ruski Tyshky, Shestakove, Andriivka, and Husarivka.  Airstrikes were launched near Mospanove, Pervomaisk, and Bairaky. Also, the enemies conducted aerial reconnaissance in the areas of Pytomnyk, Cherkaska Lozova, and Shestakove settlements.

In the Slovyansk direction, the Russians tried to resume their offensive in the Barvinkove ​​direction. Shelling was recorded near Chepil, Brazhkivka, Bohorodychne, and Kostyantynivka. Airstrikes were near Brazhivka and Zalyman. In the offensive battle in the direction of Karnaukhivka, the Russian invaders had no success and were forced to retreat.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy fired from barrel and jet artillery in the areas of Tetianivka, Ivano-Darivka, Zvanivka, and Hryhorivka. Arstrikes were launched near Spirne and Siversk.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian invaders engaged tanks, barrel artillery, and MLRS in the areas of Tikhonivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, and Shumy, as well as aviation - for strikes near Yakovlivka and Kodema.

Assault actions of the Russian occupiers in the directions of Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, and Kodema were unsuccessful.

In the Avdiivka direction, the invaders were repulsed during efforts to improve their tactical position near the settlement of Nevelske. During the day, in this direction, the enemy launched shelling in the areas of Olexandropol, New York, Novobakhmutivka, Netailove, Halytsynivka, Nevelske, Opytne, and Marinka. The airstrikes were launched near Pervomaisk, Krasnohorivka, and Marinka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russians fired artillery near Zolota Nyva, Prechystivka, Pavlivka, and Volodymyrivka. From aviation - in the districts of Volodymyrivka and Novomykhailivka.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian invaders shelled the areas of the settlements of Velykomykhailivka, Novosilka, Vremivka, Malynivka, Poltavka, Orikhiv, and Mala Tokmachka. Aviation was used near Olhivske and Huliaipole settlements. 
In the Southern Bug direction, the Russian occupiers continued shelling a number of settlements. With airstrikes, they tried to destroy important infrastructure facilities in the Oleksandrivka, Lozove, and Olhyne districts.
