Ukrainian army repels attacks and advances: deputy commander on situation near Bakhmut
Deputy Commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade Major Maksym Zhorin noted that the Defense Forces continue offensives in the Bakhmut sector and improve their tactical position
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The situation in the Bakhmut sector remains difficult. Despite the losses, Russian enemy does not calm down. The Russian forces continue to move units to this area. Ukrainian forces continue to take offensive actions and improve their tactical position," emphasized Zhorin.
According to the deputy commander of the 3rd Brigade, the enemy has deployed a lot of forces in the Bakhmut sector.
"At the moment we have to repel attacks and move forward. The initiative remains on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," emphasized Zhorin.
- According to the General Staff, as of 30 October, in the Bakhmut sector, Russian enemy tried in vain to regain the lost position near Andriivka.
- In the area of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, the enemy significantly reinforced its grouping and moved from defense to active actions, trying to stop the advance of the Defense Forces.
