Ukrainian army pushes Russians back 1.8 km along frontline near Bakhmut
During the day, the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed back the Russian army 1.8 km along the front line and 1.2 km deep near Bakhmut in Donetsk region
The press service of the unit wrote about it.
“The 2nd Assault Battalion's offensive actions caused significant losses to the Russian forces, including approximately 30 dead Russian soldiers and 40 wounded Russians from the 57th Brigade and the "Storm Z" prisoners' detachments,” the statement said.
Furthermore, Ukrainian defenders successfully destroyed enemy ammunition warehouses and Russian military equipment, such as infantry vehicles, tanks, and artillery.
In just one day, the assault brigade managed to push the Russians back by 1.8 km along the front line and 1.2 km deep into the territories of Donetsk region.
“We are determined to reclaim our lands and secure the areas surrounding Bakhmut. The enemy's forces have mostly retreated beyond the canal, where the occupiers had recently occupied positions,” they stated.
The military authorities will soon release a video showcasing this operation.
