Ukrainian army may face infantry shortages — we cannot compensate our losses like Russia

This was stated on Espreso by the Kharkiv Regional Council deputy and the National Guard officer Oleksandr Doroshenko.

He is currently in the Luhansk region.

"The war has been rather positional during the last week. In certain areas they have an infantry advantage, great advantage in manpower. We understand that Russia is a big country. They have a lot of resources, including Wagner PMC convicts and so-called L/DPR fighters. They use them," the officer noted.

Doroshenko added that Ukraine is receiving Western military aid (shells, armor, tanks).

"The war has been going on for nine years, it’s been a full-scale war for only a year. Regarding infantry, I believe that soon we might face problems with people. We need people who learn quickly to carry out offensive, assault actions. So far we do not see a lot of them. In a while, maybe. We also have losses. We won't be able to compensate for them like Russia does it. The country is a manpower conveyor belt, we are not like them," he concluded.
