General Staff's report: Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to deplete Russian army along the entire front line in the Melitopol direction

According to the General Staff, in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 3 Russian attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's troops repulsed 6 Russian attacks in the areas of Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region and east of Terny in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 hostile attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian defense forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian enemy and are consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the Russian enemy, who keeps trying to surround Avdiivka. Ukraine's soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, 26 Russian attacks were repelled east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and another 9 attacks near more 3 settlements in Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian troops in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 13 hostile attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 Russian attacks west of Novopokrovka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, Ukraine's troops continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting their enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to expand the bridgehead. Despite the setbacks, Russian troops did not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units from their positions and made 8 attempts to assault. They received a decent rebuff and retreated with losses. Ukraine's defenders are conducting counter-battery combat, inflicting fire on Russia's rear.

Russian army launches missile and 26 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 87 combat clashes took place. In total, Russia launched 1 missile and 26 air strikes, fired 87 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

Yesterday, Russian aggressors attacked Ukraine using 17 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. All their drones were destroyed. Also, they conducted another air strike using 4 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 3 UAVs.

1 locality in Kharkiv region, 1 in Luhansk region and 2 in Zaporizhzhia region were hit by airstrikes.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were subjected to artillery fire.

Ammunition explodes in Russian gun barrels
