Ukrainian army eliminates 3 Russian artillery systems, 18 tanks and 850 soldiers within one day - General Staff

The situation at the front in the following directions

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 Russian attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed 2 hostile attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukraine's troops fended off 5 attacks in the area of 4 settlements in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian defense forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian enemy and are consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Ukrainian defenders continue to deter the Russian enemy, who keeps trying to surround Avdiivka. The Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on their enemy. Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 51 attacks in 8 areas of Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back Russia's troops in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where they repelled 13 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russia did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled 8 hostile attacks in 3 areas of Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on Russia's rear.

Russians strike at Ukraine with Iskanders and launch Shahed drones

In total, Russia launched 2 missile strikes and 13 air strikes, fired 63 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In addition, yesterday Russia once again attacked Ukraine using 10 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the attack UAVs.

Also, on this day, the Russian invaders launched another missile attack on Kyiv, using 10 missiles (S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, Iskander cruise missiles). The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the missiles. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.

Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region came under air strikes. More than 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kherson regions were subjected to artillery fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces strike at 4 Russian troops' concentration areas

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck an area where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

Missile troops struck 2 control points, 3 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, and 2 Russia's ammunition depots.

• On the night of Wednesday, December 13, the Russian invaders launched 10 kamikaze drones and the same number of ballistic missiles to strike Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to destroy all the Russian targets.
