Ukrainian Armed Forces use HIMARS to destroy Russian forces’ base in Melitopol

The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, informed about this in a Telegram channel.

"Tonight, high-precision HIMARS missiles fired at points of temporary deployment of occupation troops at industrial sites in various districts of the city of Melitopol," Fedorov wrote.

The mayor of the city reports that our soldiers have destroyed a significant amount of Russian enemy military equipment and more than a hundred rocket launchers. The invaders' anti-aircraft defense cannot shoot down the shells of the American MLRS.

"Last week, Russian occupiers redeployed a significant part of air defense from Melitopol to Kherson. Tonight is the most effective and shows that enemy air defense units are no longer capable of resisting HIMARS," the message reads.

Such actions of Russian occupiers help the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct a counteroffensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, Fedorov added.
