Ukrainian Armed Forces target 6 SAMs, 4 enemy concentration areas on June 27 - General Staff

This is stated in the evening report of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff on June 27.

Also, the aviation of the Defence Forces carried out 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel over the day

Missile and artillery units struck one command post and 4 areas where Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

50 wounded Russian soldiers were brought to the occupation hospital in Novomykhailivka, Kherson region. 

"Continuing the armed aggression, the Russian occupation forces suffer daily losses. About 50 wounded soldiers of the invading Russian army were brought to the kindergarten converted into a field hospital in Novomykhailivka, Kherson region," the statement said.

The Russian forces also converted a secondary school in Rozivka, Zaporizhzhia region, into another military hospital. Wounded Russian invaders are constantly brought there.

In addition, during the day, the Russian occupiers fired a Kh-22 cruise missile at private houses in the Kremenchuk district of Poltava region.

This resulted in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure, high-rise buildings and dozens of private homes.

The enemy is attacking in the Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka directions - over 10 combat engagements took place there over the last day.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, there are no signs of offensive groups forming.

Russian attacks in other Ukrainian regions:

The Russian enemy maintains a heavy military presence in the border regions. The Russian army continued shelling the entire border line with mortars and artillery: more than 

20 localities in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions were attacked.

More than 20 settlements in the Kupiansk direction also came under artillery and mortar fire. 

In the Lyman direction, more than 15 localities came under artillery fire, including 3 settlements in Luhansk region; and 3 settlements in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground southeast of Ivanivske. Russian artillery shelling affected areas near more than 15 settlements. 

In the Avdiivka direction, Russia launched air strikes in the area of Avdiivka. They shelled over 20 localities with artillery. 

In the Marinka direction, the Russian forces were on the offensive in the area of Marinka, but were unsuccessful. Russia carried out air strikes near Marinka and Krasnohorivka. At the same time more than 10 settlements came under artillery attacks.  

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful offensive attempts towards the village of Rivne. Russia carried out air strikes in the area of Storozheve, Donetsk region; fired at more than 15 localities. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The Russian occupiers launched air strikes near 2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; shelled over 40 localities with artillery. 

The 1st Mechanised Battalion of the 28th Brigade defeated a Russian battalion in the Kurdyumivka area of Donetsk region and broke through the defenses, neutralizing 35 enemy soldiers and capturing several more.
