Ukrainian Armed Forces' strategic strikes will devalue Russian military reserves - General Malomuzh
General of the Ukrainian Army, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (2005-2010), Mykola Malomuzh believes that as long as the Russian military leadership conducts the mobilization, training, coordination of reservists, the Armed Forces will already have priority not only in the East, but also in the South of our country
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"Russia is carrying out total mobilization with active repressive actions. All over the territory of the Russian Federation there is an order to urgently gather military personnel and reservists. The main thing is the quality of training and the timing. The first 300,000 can be trained in half a year, which is a long time. We are now effectively acting in a number of strategic directions. I predict that during this period, as long as they conduct mobilization, conduct training, coordination of reservists, we will already have priority not only in the East, but also in the South of our country," Malomuzh noted.
According to him, if an active offensive phase begins on the part of Ukraine, the strategic offensive operations of the Armed Forces will be able to liberate the territory as a whole, but this requires a strategy.
"Concentration of trained Ukrainian military personnel is needed in all regions, and first of all - the East and the South. These directions can give a perspective - to devalue mobilization. The number one task for the leadership of the state is not only to break the enemy's defenses with strategic strikes, but also to devalue the tightened reserves of the Russian Federation and create the preconditions for panic. Panic must be powerfully supported not only in the East, but also in the South - then the front collapses, and when the front collapses, it is a prerequisite for the liberation of the territories," Malomuzh explained.
