He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The situation is under control, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have levelled the situation. Over the past three days, Russian occupiers have lost about 400 people killed and wounded. The enemy used banned chemical weapons in the area of Bilohorivka," noted Vlasenko.
According to him, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation.
"The situation in the Lyman-Kupiansk sector is stabilised, but the intensity of combat actions is the highest," stressed Vlasenko.
- On Tuesday, 18 July, it became known that the Russian army had concentrated its main efforts in the Kupyansk sector and was continuing its offensive, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces were holding the line. Russian enemy is moving reserves to the Bakhmut direction to stop the advance of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
- Oleksandr Hanushchyn, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, major of the 103rd Tank Brigade and a member of the Lviv Regional Council, said that the Russian forces are trying to create an opportunity for themselves to move reserves from near Bakhmut to the Kupiansk direction
