Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 22 settlements - General Staff

According to the information, over the past day, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the Russian attacks near the settlements of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Hryhorivka, Vyimka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, Oleksandropil, Novobakhmutivka, Nevelske, Marinka, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

Over the last day, the Russian forces conducted 23 air and 4 missile strikes, 2 aimed at civilian objects in Kharkiv. The Russian army also made 78 attacks from multiple missile launchers. Particularly, there were civilian casualties among the civilian population.

On December 14, near Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, the Defense Forces destroyed up to 10 units of military equipment of various types. About 180 enemy servicemen were injured. Up to 30 occupants were destroyed in Lazurne, Kherson region. Also, the work of Russian mobile crematoria in Tokmak was noted.

"To replenish the current losses of the occupants, the recruitment of conscripts for contract service continues. Particularly, such processes continue in the units of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District," the statement reads.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 22 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 strikes on the positions of the Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Also, our defenders shot down two UAVs of "Orlan-10" type.

The units of the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 5 control points, 4 areas of concentration of Russian personnel, 6 artillery positions and 2 ammunition depots, a fuel and lubricants depot.
