Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 15 settlements, and destroy command post, injuring 230 occupiers 

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the report on December 29.

Thus, on December 27, near five settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian forces' losses amounted to 3 units of military equipment of various types, a command post and a communication center. About 230 servicemen were injured.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled attacks in the vicinity of 15 settlements and hit 20 areas of Russian concentration

On December 28, the units of the Defense Forces repelled the Russian forces’ attacks near four settlements in the Luhansk region and eleven in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian aviation conducted 17 strikes on the Russian forces’ concentration areas and 4 strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems.

In turn, units of the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 5 control points, 3 areas of manpower concentration and an ammunition depot of the Russian forces.

Russia conducted 30 air and 7 missile strikes on Ukraine over the last day

Over the past day, the enemy conducted 30 air and 7 missile strikes, particularly, on the civilian infrastructure of the cities of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region and Kharkiv.

It also made over 70 attacks from multiple missile launchers.

In turn, last night, the Russian forces once again struck at the energy infrastructure of Kharkiv, using 13 Iranian Shahed-136 drones. 11 of these drones were shot down by the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Russian forces are advancing in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions

Russian army continues to conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka sectors. It is trying to improve the tactical situation in the Lyman sector.

The situation remains stable on the border with Belarus and the northern Ukrainian border with Russia, no signs of enemy offensive groups formation were detected.

Two settlements in the Chernihiv region, five in the Sumy region and eleven in the Kharkiv region were shelled with artillery.

In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the Russian forces shelled the areas of more than 20 settlements. Among them are five settlements in the Kharkiv region, four in the Luhansk region, as well as Yampolivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army fired from tanks, mortars, cannon and missile artillery at more than 25 localities in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, five settlements in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In the Vuhledar direction, attacks were registered near four settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, areas of more than 25 settlements were shelled. Among them are four settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region and three in the Kherson region. The civilian infrastructure of Oleshky and Kherson were damaged again by Russian forces’ shelling. There are casualties among civilians.
