Ukrainian Armed Forces repel 58 Russian attacks per day - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

Occupying Russian troops are attacking at the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the report says. 

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled 58 enemy assaults. Bakhmut and Marinka remain at the epicenter of the fighting.

Russia launched 7 missile attacks and 39 airstrikes against Ukraine

Yesterday, the Russian army attacked Ukraine, launching 7 missile strikes, 39 airstrikes, as well as 50 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems. 

As a result, civilians were killed and wounded. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

AFU shoot down 4 drones, hit several Russian military positions

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched three strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions. They also shot down two enemy Shahed drones, one Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone, as well as one more of an unspecified type.

Missile and artillery units hit the enemy manpower concentration areas. They also hit fuel and lubricant depots, two air defense facilities, an artillery unit, and another important target for the Russian Federation. 

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact with mortars and artillery: 6 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 8 more in the Sumy region, as well as 7 towns and villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

Shelling of Ukrainian regions

In the Kupiansk direction, 11 settlements in the Kharkiv and Lyman directions came under artillery shelling. 

In the Lyman direction, 6 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk directions were attacked by the invading Russian troops. 

In the Bakhmut direction, fighting continues for the fortress city. 16 localities in the Donetsk region were subjected to numerous Russian attacks. 

In the Avdiivka direction, 6 settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

In the Marinka direction, invading Russian troops attacked 3 localities in the Donetsk region. 

In the Shakhtarsk direction, 6 localities in the Donetsk region came under enemy fire. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, over 21 cities and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the Russian army. 

• On April 29, explosions at an oil depot in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol destroyed 10 tanks with oil products with a capacity of 40 thousand tons.
