The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 3 missile strikes and 57 air strikes, including 26 Shahed-136 type UAVs. 21 of them were destroyed by our defenders. Also, the Russian aggressors fired 69 rounds from MLRS at the positions of our troops and populated areas. There are dead and wounded among the civilian population, destroyed and damaged private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure," the statement reads.

The General Staff noted that despite heavy losses the Russian forces keep launching offensives at the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Vuhledar directions. Over the past day, Ukrainian defense forces fended off over 55 enemy attacks in these areas. The most fierce battles are for the towns of Bakhmut and Marinka.

Shelling of Ukrainian regions:

The operational situation on the Northern and Northeastern Ukrainian borders remains unchanged. A comprehensive check of the combat readiness of the Belarusian Armed Forces is underway.

Over the past day, the Russian troops fired at 7 settlements in the Sumy region and 8 in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, 5 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to improve the tactical position and carried out unsuccessful offensives in the areas of the southern outskirts of Kreminna town and Serebryansky forestry. Five localities in the Luhansk region and four in Donetsk region suffered from artillery shelling.

The Russian army continues its offensive in the Bakhmut direction where heavy fighting takes place. Also, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repulsed enemy attacks near Khromove. The hostile shelling affected 17 localities in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensives in the areas of Avdiivka, Vodiane and Pervomaiske. In particular, they opened fire on 7 localities in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous enemy attacks in the vicinity of Marinka and Pobieda over the past day.

At the same time, 4 localities in the Donetsk region were subjected to hostile attacks.

In the Vuhledar direction, the Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Vuhledar. In addition to the latter, they stormed 3 other settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, they continue to be on the defensive. At the same time, over 35 localities were under fire during the day including 5 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, 6 in Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

According to the report, the soldiers of the Russian "volunteer" formation Nevsky (participating in hostilities in the Donetsk region) have a low level of morale due to heavy losses of personnel, untimely supply of ammunition, and uncertainty about the timing of replenishment of units that suffered combat losses. The number of those wishing to leave their units and withdraw from the areas of hostilities to the Russian Federation is increasing.

In the village of Izyumivka in the temporarily occupied territories of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, about 400 conscripts of the Russian occupation forces, who are quartered at the recreation center "Dolyna Skifiv", are scheduled to be relocated to defensive positions near the Crimean village of Volodymyrivka.

"During the day, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out 7 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, and units of missile and artillery troops hit 2 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment and 2 warehouses of enemy ammunition," the report said.
