Ukrainian Armed Forces may take Crimea into operational encirclement this year
Military analyst Oleksiy Hetman believes that experts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) have never been wrong in their forecasts regarding war in Ukraine.

"Now ISW analysts predict that when the ground freezes, offensive of Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue not only in eastern direction, not only on the right bank of Dnipro river, but most likely also on the left bank. Ukrainian Armed Forces possibly will be able to reach not only Melitopol, but also Mariupol," Hetman noted.
Military analyst added that there is also a lot of talk around Crimea.
"Perhaps this year, Ukrainian Armed Forces will take territory of Crimea into operational encirclement. We will block supply routes of weapons and fuel, then it will be easier to liberate Crimea. Let's hope that ISW's predictions will come true," Hetman emphasized.
