In southern Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have gone on the offensive in many directions

The head of the joint press center of the Security and Defense Forces "South" Nataliya Humenyuk said this in a comment to Hromadske.

Later, Humenyuk added that "any military operation requires silence," writes Media Center Ukraine.

"In the conditions of a hybrid war, such a reaction to news from the front harms the Armed Forces. The news about the offensive in the southern direction is there, it inspired the Ukrainians. But at the moment, we must realize that any actions must first be completed, only then will they be effective. Now  we need to wait and understand the rules and the sequence of actions of military units," said Natalya Humenyuk, head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.

Russian enemy's forces are quite powerful, the Russians have been drawing up reserves in the Kherson region for a long time.  But the previous measures of the Armed Forces, fire control and destruction of warehouses, ammunition and military equipment of the enemy, gave results.

"Our measures have weakened the enemy, but he is still very powerful. Even the fact that they are morally disoriented, of course, plays into our hands, but it is too early to relax," Nataliya Humenyuk explained.

She emphasized that all Ukrainians who are currently in the occupied territory, without the possibility to evacuate, should find shelter and not neglect safety rules.

As reported by the Kakhovka Operational Group of Forces, HIMARS destroyed almost all the large bridges of the Kherson region.

"Well, what can be said here? The situation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region is extremely difficult. The large and terrible HIMARS destroyed almost all the large bridges (Antonivsky railway, road and Novokakhovsky). Only pedestrian crossings remained. The Russian army was cut off from the supply of weapons and personnel from  the territory of Crimea. For Ukraine, this is a brilliant chance to return its territories," the message reads.

Volodymyr Litvinov, the head of the Beryslav RVA, said that in the Kherson region, the SSU hit the Beryslav Machine-Building Plant, where the Russian army had stationed its equipment, ammunition and manpower.  There is currently a big fire there.

Also, the Kakhovka Operational Group of Troops added that the 109th Regiment of the DPR withdrew from its positions in the Kherson region.

"The Russian paratroopers who were supporting them escaped from the battlefield," our military said.

Oleksiy Matsulevych, the deputy head of the Odesa regional military administration, said that "battles for the city of Kherson" had begun.

However, he later deleted the post.
