Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate over 1,500 Russian Orlan-10 drones
Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said that the Ukrainian military has already destroyed more than 1,500 enemy Orlan-10 drones
The spokesman of the Air Forces of Ukraine reported this on air of the telethon.
Russia is using Orlan-10 operational and tactical level drones across Ukraine. As of March 28, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed more than 1,500 of these drones at the front, not including quadcopters and tactical UAVs.
Assessing the capabilities of the Russian air force, Ihnat says that the group of enemy aircraft attacking Ukraine from several dozen airfields has increased in number, but has become much worse in quality.
"Unfortunately, they still have the potential to carry out air attacks, and our military pilots are doing everything possible, and sometimes even impossible, to resist the aggressor, trying to shoot down its missiles and UAVs," said the Air Force spokesman.
Ihnat emphasized that Russia has increased the activity of tactical aviation and the use of guided aerial bombs: "These are new threats that should be taken into account."
“It is possible to counteract this, in particular, thanks to the new equipment of our partners, including fighting aircraft,” he added.
