Ukrainian Armed Forces have neutralized Colonel Aleksey Gorobets, Commander of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division (Volgograd), part of Russia's 8th guards combined arms army.

Journalists spoke with the Russian commander's widow. She said that "a DNA test had to be done" to identify the person killed.
Most likely, the colonel died after the successful shelling of the Rosguard barracks in Kherson by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
