"The situation in the area of responsibility of the defense forces of southern Ukraine is tense and dynamic, but it is controlled by our troops. The enemy continues to conduct hostilities mainly by means of remote fire, strengthening on the defense lines", it is noted.
On the night of July 21 to 22, Ukrainian forces neutralized 9 rocket launchers, the Grad rocket launcher and the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer. Final losses are being determined.
Dnipropetrovsk region
From the direction of Kakhovka, Russia fired 5 Point-U missiles at Apostolove. 3 educational institutions were destroyed and residential buildings were damaged. Rescue workers are working. Previously, 8 people were injured. The information is still being clarified.
"Nikopol was shelled twice. 45 cluster projectiles were fired at the city by Grad reactive salvo fire systems. Previously, 1 person died, 1 was injured. 11 private houses, gas and water utilities were damaged. The railway track was destroyed. 2 houses were destroyed in the community. Firefighters extinguished the fire there. There were no casualties", the Operational Command South wrote.
In the Pokrovsk community, warehouses were hit, and 2 villages were left without electricity.
Shelling of Southern Ukraine
The Pervomaisk community was subjected to Russian shelling. A store building and a garage cooperative were hit. At dawn, the village of Novomykolaivka was shelled. The hits were mostly in open areas. There are no casualties.
Also, on the morning of July 22, shelling of Kiselivka and Maksymivka took place. There was no information about damage or casualties.
In the Bashtan district, the Shyrokiv community was shelled early in the morning. Agricultural buildings were hit. There are no casualties.
Shelling continues along the demarcation line in the community of Bereznehuvate. Information on casualties and damage is being clarified.
