Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 14 artillery units, 3 air defense systems overnight - AFU General Staff

The General Staff reports that during June 19, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 14 Russian artillery units, 3 air defense systems and 2 other critical enemy targets

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck 3 Russian control points, 6 concentrations of personnel and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots, and one fuel and lubricant depot.

In turn, Ukrainian aviation launched 15 strikes on Russian personnel concentrations over the last day. 

In Rozivka, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces have turned a school into a military hospital

The dining room was converted into an operating room, and classrooms were converted into wards for the wounded. Additionally, the military hospital serves as a logistics hub for redistributing wounded and deceased Russian soldiers.

The General Staff said that seriously wounded Russian soldiers and sergeants are being transported to medical facilities in Donetsk, Mariupol and Berdiansk by car. In turn, wounded officers are being airlifted directly to Russia.

Russian troops carry out 32 air strikes and fire about 40 MLRS attacks on Ukraine during the day

During the day, Russian invading forces struck again, using 4 Kalibr cruise missiles and 4 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed all 8 air targets. 

Russian troops attack in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, and heavy fighting continues. There were 39 combat clashes over the last day.

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

The situation in other directions is as follows:

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine.

They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of 23 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops launched an air strike near 1 settlement in the Kharkiv region. Six settlements across the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near 5 settlements and an air strike near Spirne. Seven settlements across Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near a settlement and air strikes near 2 settlements. They also shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Avdiivka.

The Russian army also shelled 5 settlements with artillery. 

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous attacks near the town of Marinka and 2 others. 

Russian troops launched an air strike on Marinka and shelled 4 more settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near a settlement and an air strike on another. They also shelled 5 more settlements. 

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces are on the defensive. They launched air strikes on 3 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Russian troops shelled 30 settlements across Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

On the night of Monday, June 19, Russian troops attacked Odesa. Ukrainian air defense operated on the missiles launched in the attack.
