Ukrainian Armed Forces' damage to Russian facilities on isthmus, exit from Crimea, will turn peninsula from Russian base into island - military expert

Military expert Serhii Hrabskyi has experience in peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Iraq. He believes that the damage the Ukrainian Armed Forces inflict on Russian troops, even with limited means, deter Russia from conducting offensive actions on the Kherson bridgehead

He shared the details with Espreso TV.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the occupied Henichesk and Novooleksiivka, and I was very pleased. I realized with pride that we are now covering the Crimea. That is, we can strike both in the Kherson and Melitopol directions. And this will seriously affect the course of hostilities. Damage to the objects on the two narrow isthmuses of exit from Crimea turns Crimea from a support base for Russian aggression in the northern Black Sea region into the island of Crimea, which will become a dead end. It will concentrate great forces and means that will be impossible to use", Hrabskyi explained.

The military expert also added that the Russians will be stuck in Crimea and will not be able to do anything with their weapons.

"It is difficult to advance from Crimea. Taking into account the forces and means of attack that Ukraine has, we can act even more effectively because we have space for maneuver", Hrabskyi noted.
