Ukrainian Air Force strikes at Russian concentration areas five times per day

On May 6, the Defense Forces' aviation launched five strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions, as well as on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed four Shahed-136/131 unmanned aerial vehicles and two reconnaissance drones over the course of the day.

Missile and artillery units, in turn, hit the invading forces' control center and three manpower concentration areas. An artillery unit at a firing position was also struck.

Russia launched 6 missile strikes, 25 airstrikes, and over 20 MLRS attacks

The Russian forces launched six missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine over the past day, in particular on the cities of Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka and Kherson. They also launched 25 airstrikes and over 20 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of the hostile attacks, private houses and a number of civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The Russian army continues to attack in the Bakhmut and Marinka directions, with heavy fighting taking place in Bakhmut and Marinka. The enemy troops launched over 30 assaults in these areas over the past day.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact: 5 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 3 more in the Sumy region, as well as 12 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked.

In the Kupiansk direction, 7 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

In the Lyman direction, 4 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions were subjected to enemy artillery shelling. 

In the Bakhmut direction, fighting continues for the fortress city. 13 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

In the Avdiivka direction, 6 settlements of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire. 

In the Marinka direction, 2 villages in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

In the Shakhtarsk direction, 4 settlements of the Donetsk region were attacked. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, 14 cities and villages were subjected to numerous Russian attacks. 

The enemy servicemen's moral and psychological state continues to deteriorate: they complain about the poor supply of medicines and equipment

In one of the units of the invading troops in the village of Mulino, Nizhny Novgorod region, commanders openly call their subordinates 'cannon fodder.' Russian servicemen also complain about poor medical care, as well as the unsatisfactory provision of personal protective gear and equipment.

In addition, about half of the personnel are unable to apply for payment cards. Because of this, they fear that in the event of their death, their money will not reach their families.

Invading Russian forces continue to loot businesses in the temporarily occupied territories

As of May 5, the Russians in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar took all the machine tools from the Elektroprovidenmontazh-10 enterprise. In addition, the company's warehouse was looted and not a single car was left.
