Ukrainian Air Force speaks on requirements to start training Ukrainian pilots on Western fighters
Some countries are ready to provide training sites for Ukrainian pilots. However, to start the training, it is necessary to decide on the type of aircraft to be provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Yuriy Ihnat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, shared the information on the United News national telethon.
"We have heard about pilot training and some agreements with countries in the statements of various European leaders. We heard about their readiness to provide training grounds for pilots. We know these countries. These are the UK and other countries. We are ready, but the question is still open about the type of aircraft. When the type is determined, pilots can be trained in different countries where this type of aircraft is in service, where there is a training base, because it is not only instructors who need to be there, but also flight simulators," he explained.
