Ukrainian Air Force neutralizes Russian Su-34 fighter near Izyum
On June 12, the Ukrainian Air Force neutralized a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber near Izyum in the Kharkiv region, which was attacking Ukrainian positions.
The Air Force Command shared the update on Facebook.
"The Air Force congratulated Russia on Russia's Day shooting down Su-34. On June 12, at about 10 am in the Izyum region of Kharkiv region, anti-aircraft missiles of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber," the statement said.
Russian aircraft worked in pairs and attacked the Ukrainian servicemen positions.
"After the Ukrainian air defenses hit the Russian aircraft, one of them changed course, and the pilots of the other decided to try their luck. Good luck!," anti-aircraft gunners responded and shot down a Su-34, thus congratulating the Russian pilots, the statement added.
A Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed into the temporarily occupied territory. Information about the pilots is being clarified.
Also, on June 12, an anti-aircraft missile unit shot down a Russian Orlan-10 UAV. The strike aircraft made several raids on Russian positions. It hit the accumulation of Russian equipment and personnel. The storage of Russian missile and artillery weapons was destroyed.
