Ukrainian air defense shoots down about 80% of Russian missiles

During the last Russian attack, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 60 Russian missiles out of 70, destroying near 80% of the missiles launched on Ukraine.

Serhii Zgurets, director of information and consulting company Defense Express, stated this live on air of Espreso TV channel.

According to him, ability of Ukrainian Armed Forces to use Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft systems, handed over by Germany, testifies to increase in the density of air defense of Ukrainian Armed Forces. Serhii Zgurets added that there is currently war between means of attack and defense, in which Ukraine is demonstrating possibility of shooting down more and more Russian missiles.

"We are at indicator of 80% shot down missiles launched by Russian troops. Last launches were 70 missiles, 60 of which were shot down. Extremely high indicator. I think that this reflects general picture and statistics in the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine in this anti-air war," he emphasized.
