Ukrainian air defense shoots down 41 Shahed drones at night

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

In addition, the Russian army fired 6 S-300 missiles from the temporarily occupied Kherson region in the direction of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

"The Russian enemy began attacking with Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs at 7:00 p.m. on December 13. The launches were carried out in waves from three directions: Balaklava, Chauda - Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia. In total, 42 attack UAVs were launched," the statement says. 

The main direction of the strike was the Odesa region, where the vast majority of UAVs were shot down.

• On the evening of December 13, Russian forces launched Shaheds and rockets from the south. In the Odesa region, 11 people were injured.
