Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shoot down at least four Russian helicopters in 18 minutes

The Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Telegram.

"From 08:40 to 08:58 on October 12, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed at least four Russian attack helicopters in the South of Ukraine," the press service wrote.

The downed helicopters, presumably Ka-52, were providing fire support to the infantry of the Russian army in the southern direction.

One helicopter fell on the de-occupied territory, the rest — behind the front line.

"Combat work was conducted on two more helicopters, so there is a high probability that the number of confirmed downed helicopters will increase!" the message added.
