Ukrainian air defense destroys all Russian missiles in Lviv region
Ukrainian air defense has shot down all Russian missiles in Lviv region, and the cause of the missile crash killing 5 people is being established
First Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Administration Andrii Hodyk said this, Espreso reports.
“Five people were killed as a result of a missile falling into a residential area. As for the effectiveness of air defense, according to the data of the West Air Command, all air objects located in the Lviv region were destroyed. However, we will be able to directly inform and conclude what exactly caused the missile to fall on a residential area in the Zolochiv district – whether it was an incorrect guidance of the missile by terrorist forces, an error of the missile itself, or a fall due to the downing by our air defense. Only after the investigation by military and police is completed, we can draw conclusions,” he said.
At the same time, Hodyk emphasized that it was a Russian missile that hit the houses, as its wreckage was identified by the investigative team.
