Ukrainian air defense destroys 30 Russian drones in south overnight

The Defense Forces of southern Ukraine reported.

"From the Crimean Cape Chauda, Shahed-131/136 UAVs were directed mainly at the southern regions," the statement reads.

It is noted that 30 drones were destroyed in the area of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces:

• 20 - in Vinnytsia region;

• 6 - in Odesa region;

• 4 - in Mykolaiv region.

Later, the Air Force noted that the Russian troops had launched a total of 40 strike drones across Ukraine.

"The Air Force in cooperation with Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 30 Shahed drones in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions!" the statement reads.

• On the evening of Friday, September 29, Russian forces launched strike UAVs at Ukraine. They hit an infrastructure facility in the Vinnytsia region. A number of trains were delayed due to the Russian attack.
