Ukraine's air defense destroy 28 missiles and 15 drones in nighttime attack
On the night of August 29-30, Ukrainian air defense has destroyed 43 air targets in the skies over Ukraine: 28 cruise missiles and 15 attack UAVs
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, reported the information.
He noted that a total of 44 enemy targets were recorded:

28 air-launched missiles of the Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 type were fired from 11 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea and the Engels region.

16 Shahed-136/131-type attack UAVs from the southern and northern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk).
According to Zaluzhnyi, air defense destroyed all 28 cruise missiles and 15 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs within the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.
Ukraine’s South Defense Forces noted that 3 Russian drones were destroyed over the Mykolaiv region and 2 over the Kirovohrad region.
"8 missiles were destroyed by air defense and maritime security forces over the sea in the Odesa region. There were no hits or damage," the statement added.

On the night of August 29-30, Russian troops launched attack UAVs and cruise missiles at Ukraine. Two people were killed and three others were injured by falling debris in Kyiv. An infrastructure facility and a railroad track were damaged in the Zhytomyr region. Read more about the attack here.
