Ukrainian air defence near Kyiv and in Ukraine’s north reinforced with mobile fire groups
Ukraine is creating new mobile air defence fire groups. They will defend the skies over Kyiv and settlements in the north of the country
This was announced by the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Nayev.
He showed the Shahed, Orlan-10 and other drones shot down by Ukrainian defenders.
"The world has never seen such a huge number of air and missile strikes. But we are trying to find the most effective methods of countering air threats," Nayev said.
"Today, we are strengthening our air defence system and handing over another batch of all-terrain vehicles equipped with large-calibre machine guns and portable anti-aircraft missile systems to our defenders," he added.
Nayev promised that the protection of the population and civilian objects would be strengthened constantly.
