On Tuesday, March 14, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on the situation at the front, in particular in Bakhmut

The President's press service shared the statement.

It is noted that the members of the Staff heard reports from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the commanders of the operational and strategic groups of troops on the current situation at the front.

"Having reviewed the course of the defence operation in the Bakhmut direction, all members of the Staff expressed a common position on the further holding and defence of Bakhmut," the President's press service informed.

In addition, the meeting also analyzed the supply of weapons and ammunition to the defence forces at the front line.

They also discussed the pace and volume of equipment and weapons from Ukraine's partners and their distribution among the troop groups.

On March 3, the Commander of the Land Forces, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that in Bakhmut, Wagner assault units were trying to break through the defence and advance to the central areas.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on March 12, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 100 enemy attacks.
