The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, reported this.
“On the morning of December 22, a group of Russian soldiers crossed Ukraine's state border. On the territory of the Krasnopillia community, near the village of Vysoke, Ukrainian Territorial Defense fighters engaged in a battle with a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group. After a short battle, at least two enemies were killed,” he wrote.
The official emphasized that there were no losses on the Ukrainian side.
