Ukraine’s state-owned arms conglomerate pledges full range of artillery shells production
Ukroboronprom is at the final stage of establishing production of a full line of artillery shells
This was stated by Natalia Sad, a spokesperson for the state-run arms industry conglomerate Ukroboronprom, on Espreso TV.
"We continue to work in an enhanced mode. Ukroboronprom enterprises, backup and duplicate sites, new ones deployed, in particular abroad, are working non-stop. We have organized several shifts. We are working 24/7 to return the equipment to a combat-ready state," she said.
According to Sad, the work is mainly focused on restoring military equipment after severe combat damage.
"It comes to us in the state of written-off scrap, but our designers, engineers and workers make miracles and return the equipment to the army in full combat condition. Our role does not end with the repair and restoration of equipment, we also manufacture shells. Currently, we are focusing on 152-mm artillery shells and 82-mm mines. We have ambitions, we are almost at the finish line, to produce a full range of artillery shells," summarized the spokesperson.
