Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense says Russia ready to continue war, albeit less intense

Russia has enough human resources to continue the war against Ukraine, although it cannot with the same intensity it had started

Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar shared the information on the United News national telethon on January 3.

"Russians have a huge human resource that they can use, and they are trying to attract it. We should not underestimate Russia’s resources as a state in general. Perhaps they are not able to conduct hostilities with the same intensity as they started, but they still have enough reserves to lead this war," said the Deputy Defense Minister.

According to her, the Donetsk region remains the epicenter of combat actions.

"The enemy has concentrated its capacities, weapons, personnel and military equipment there. Now, on the one hand, it is a win for us that we are holding on so strongly, but on the other hand, we must understand its price. These are very difficult battles, it is very exhausting for our defenders. Now all that is needed is strong motivation, professionalism and weapons," Maliar added.
