The Washington Post reported this with reference to Kyrylo Budanov's statement.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defence Ministry believes that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is terminally ill with cancer and has numerous body doubles.
“It’s an open question if it’s the real Putin now,” Major General Budanov noted.
Furthermore, during a recent speech at the Davos Economic Forum in Switzerland, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appeared to be relying on intelligence chief Budanov's information when he stated that he was not sure Putin was still alive. CIA Director William J. Burns, on the other hand, stated that there is no evidence that the Russian leader is ill.
