Ukraine's Health Ministry buys 24 operating tables for general surgery with funds from UNITED24

The Ukrainian Health Ministry has purchased 24 operating tables for general surgery with the funds raised through UNITED24. Operating tables have been purchased for medical facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Odesa, Rivne, Kharkiv regions, and military hospitals.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. 

According to the message, the state enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine purchased 24 operating tables for general surgery. The purchase was made with funds raised through the UNITED24 fundraising platform.

Operating tables were purchased for medical facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Odesa, Rivne, and Kharkiv regions, as well as military hospitals.

"Currently, the medical infrastructure suffers daily losses due to Russia's military aggression. At the same time, the load on hospitals that remained intact and can provide medical care to the injured has increased. Therefore, additional, and even more so, modern, operating tables are very important for the medical capacity of medical facilities…The purchased tables have high functionality and will contribute to high-quality and safe interventions for the patient and, as a result, to preserving the health and lives of patients", the Ministry of Health wrote.
