Ukraine’s Foreign Minister urges Asian and African countries to respond to Russian food terrorism
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that African and Asian countries should adopt a joint response to food terrorism committed by Russia, which attacks Ukrainian port infrastructure and grain warehouses
He wrote about this on Twitter.
Kuleba reminded that last night Russia hit another Ukrainian grain storage facility.
According to him, in this way it is trying to get concessions while holding 400 million people hostage.
"I urge all nations, particularly those in Africa and Asia who are most affected by rising food prices, to mount a united global response to food terrorism," the Foreign Minister said.
Another Russian attack on Odesa region
On the night of July 24, the Russian army launched another attack on the port infrastructure of Odesa region using kamikaze drones. This was the sixth consecutive nighttime massive missile attack on Odesa and Odesa region in the last week.
The hit destroyed a warehouse with grain and damaged storage tanks. A fire broke out in one of the technical rooms and was extinguished.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, noted that as of 12:20 p.m., the number of people injured in the region had increased to seven. Two of them were treated on the spot. Five were hospitalized, one of whom is in a serious condition in intensive care. His condition has been stabilized and he is being prepared to be transferred to a highly specialized medical facility.
Also, the head of the Reni community, Ihor Plekhov, said that during a night attack by Shahed drones, Russian troops struck their port. It was reported that three grain warehouses were destroyed. About 15 Shaheds were spotted. Residents of Reni and neighboring villages heard a series of explosions.
The blast wave also damaged the windows of buildings and houses in the port of Reni. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires.
