Ukraine's Defense Minister warns of likely new Russian offensive in February

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov says Ukraine is ready for a new large-scale Russian offensive in February

This was reported by ArmyInform.

According to him, Ukraine does not rule out a new Russian attack in February, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces are ready for it.

"We expect Russia to attack, they love symbolism. We are ready, the Armed Forces are ready, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Office is in control, everyone is ready to fight back, we are accumulating forces. We are preparing with our partners to supply weapons, as we have been doing and will continue to do," Reznikov said at a press conference in Kyiv on February 5.

He also noted that the situation in eastern Ukraine remains difficult but under control.

"Our Defense Forces are holding out. Many people wrote on their Telegrams that there would be an attack at night. No attack took place. We need to listen to the General Staff of the Armed Forces. There are no strike groups near Chernihiv or Kharkiv. There is no need to succumb to various panic injections. Today, the border guards, the National Guard and the Defense Forces are holding out. Let's believe in them," Reznikov urged.
