Ukraine’s Defense Minister talks to German counterpart: what was discussed
On October 5, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov had a telephone conversation with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius

Umerov shared the statement on Facebook.
According to him, he discussed with the German Defense Minister the situation at the front and the priority needs of Ukraine, including air defense systems, multiple launch rocket systems and armored vehicles.
"I thank the Minister and the German people for their significant support and leadership in military assistance to Ukraine. We are stronger together!" Umerov added.
- Earlier, it was reported that Germany plans to provide Ukraine with one additional IRIS-T air defense system and more than a dozen Gepard anti-aircraft guns. They are to protect cargo, travelling to Romania along the southern coast of the country.
