Ukraine's Defense Minister announces 11th Ramstein this month
The eleventh meeting of the contact group on Ukraine's defense in the Ramstein format will be held in April
This was announced by Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov during a briefing, Radio Liberty reports.
According to him, the next, already 11th, meeting will be held at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany, where the first meeting took place a year ago, in April 2022.
The minister did not name a specific date for the event. As for Ukraine's priorities, the Defense Minister noted that they will remain unchanged: air defense systems, including combat aircraft.
"Our delegation does not change its priorities. Priority No. 1 remains air defense systems, and combat aircraft are part of air defense, so we do not stop there and continue to say that we need modern combat platforms 4++, this is unequivocal. Secondly, we need armored vehicles and shells for 155-caliber heavy artillery and all other types of artillery. And thirdly, we need electronic warfare equipment, drones, anti-drones, including the so-called suicide drones or attack drones," Reznikov said.
