Ukraine's Defense Forces enter Sviatohirsk in Donetsk region: photos with Ukrainian flag at city council appear online
Ukrainian soldiers have entered Sviatohirsk, Donetsk region, which was previously completely occupied by the invading Russian forces. The Ukrainian flag has been installed at the city council, and a sweep is underway in nearby areas

A photo was published on social networks where the Ukrainian flag was installed on the building of the city council of Sviatohirsk.
A photo of Vitaliy Markiv, a soldier with Ukraine's National Guard, near the stele in Sviatohirsk also appeared.
The Department of Strategic Communications of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported about this.
"Border guards are destroying the enemy in the Donetsk region as well. Together with a unit of Ukraine's Armed Forces, border guards swept enemy positions near Sviatohirsk. The liberation of Ukraine continues," the department commented.
