Ukraine's Black Sea ports Odesa, Chornomorsk, Pivdennyi resume operations

Following the signing of an agreement opening up Ukrainian ports for grain exports, operations have resumed in the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi

This was reported by the press service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

"In connection with the signing of the agreement on opening up Ukrainian ports for the export of grain, the work has been resumed in the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi. The departure and arrival of ships to the sea ports will be carried out by forming a caravan, which will be accompanied by the lead ship", it is noted.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy, military and civilian specialists are looking for underwater objects, installing special means of navigation equipment that will help to organize the safety of shipping.

"Today, we are conducting joint work on navigational and hydrographic safety of shipping in the Port of Odesa. First of all, these are works that determine safe routes for the movement of ships that will transport Ukrainian grain", the press service wrote.

It is also noted that despite Russia's military aggression, the Ukrainian military continues to work diligently in all directions, in particular, to restore shipping and avoid a global food crisis.
