Ukraine's Armed Forces shoot down 16 Russian drones, helicopter in a day - General Staff
On October 19, the Ukrainian military destroyed 6 of the invading Russian forces' military positions, their bridge, a pontoon crossing, 16 drones, and a helicopter.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on Facebook.
During the last few days, Ukrainian defenders wounded up to 150 Russian soldiers and destroyed about 15 units of their weapons and military equipment in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukrainian aviation struck six of the invading Russian forces' areas of concentration of weapons and equipment, as well as four positions of the anti-aircraft missile systems. The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down six cruise missiles, one Ka-52 helicopter, and 16 drones, including 14 Iranian-made Shahed-136.
Missile troops and artillery struck three Russian command posts, six areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot, the EW station, as well as six other important targets, including a bridge and a pontoon crossing.
