Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi held a phone call with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley
Zaluzhnyi revealed the details of the call with Milley on his Facebook page.
“Every time I have a conversation with General Mark Milley, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, I start with the words of appreciation personally to the General, President Biden and the whole American people for the assistance due to which we keep struggling. Despite an absolute fire superiority, an expansion of troops, and accordingly attacks at the expense of, including mobilized ones, the enemy does not make gains. Due to the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers and officers, our lines remain unchanged, and the defensive operation is being conducted according to the plan,” - Zaluzhnyi wrote.
According to the Commander-in-Chied, the Defence Forces concentrate their efforts on the following key missions: to liberate the occupied territories; to prevent the seizure of new areas by the enemy; to ensure the defence of critical infrastructure facilities of our country by air and missile defence assets; to keep forming and training reserves to conduct future operations.
